Welcome to Hair By Lauren!​

I first started hairdressing as an Apprentice in 2014 in a busy chain-salon in Putney, London. I qualified within 2 years and gained NVQ Levels 2 & 3. Soon after, I was a busy stylist on the salon floor, with a forever building clientele.

In 2017, I went on maternity leave to have my son. I returned to the salon in 2018 & began building my clientele again whilst working part-time. After 5 months in the salon, it proved to be difficult travelling to & from the salon; gaining more clients whilst only part-time; and as well as being a mum! I shortly realised - it was time for a change...

And that is when Hair By Lauren was born!

At this time I was living in Surrey, and my business was based in this area. I continued to grow my business for nearly 8 years. In March 2026 I moved to Yeovil, Somerset where I now will hope to continue this growth and carry on my love for hairdressing!
