Hey - Welcome to Hair By Lauren!

My name is Lauren - if you haven't already worked it out! I am a mobile hairdresser covering the areas of: Chertsey - Staines - Ashford - Egham -  Sunbury - Shepperton - Walton - Weybridge - Addlestone - Ottershaw & some wider areas.

I first started hairdressing as an Apprentice in 2014 in a busy chain-salon in Putney, London. I qualified within 2 years and gained NVQ Levels 2 & 3. Soon after, I was a busy stylist on the salon floor, with a forever building clientele.

​

In 2017, I went on maternity leave to have my son. I returned to the salon in 2018 & began building my clientele again whilst working part-time. After 5 months in the salon, it proved to be difficult travelling to & from the salon; gaining more clients whilst only part-time; and as well as being a mum! I shortly realised - it was time for a change...

And that is when Hair By Lauren was born!

It was a tough decision to leave the salon, as this was all I knew. However, I wanted to venture into becoming a Mobile Hairdresser & see how well I could do from this. I started a Facebook page & began to share with local community groups as well as family & friends helping to share my page - hoping to gain some clients. Within 2 months I was fully booked for 2 weeks in advance & was over the moon at how well my new business was going!

Whilst being a mobile hairdresser & running my business, I'm obviously still being mum too. My son has now started school, so my working hours will be based around his school hours.

I love my job & I hope to share my passion with you all!
