What information I collect from you

I collect information about you when you contact Hair By Lauren about services, to book an appointment, enter a competition - whether this is via email, phone, online or paper.

The information you give me may include your name, home/business address, email address, phone number, date of birth, relevant medical history (for chemical services).

This information is required for locating your home to carry out a service that's booked. It is also so I can contact you in regards to your appointment. Messages are sent to you to remind you of an upcoming appointment you have. Date of Birth's are for marketing reasons. This information will only ever be used by Hair By Lauren.

How your information will be used

I will used your personal information to deliver the service/s you have booked.

I will not share this information with any third party without your consent, except to prevent fraud or if required to do so by law.

If you have consented to receive marketing, you can opt out at any time.

You have the right at any time to request I stop contacting you for marketing reasons. If you no longer wish to be contacted, please email (lauren@hairbylaurenh.com) or call me (07919563949) and request to be removed.

How long your information will be kept for

If you decide to no longer be a client of Hair By Lauren (with a 12 month period between appointments or by request) then I will remove your information within 7 days.

​

Your chemical treatment cards (from colour services) will be kept for 7 years from the date of your last service.

Where your information is kept

​

The information you give will be stored online, on paper, on my mobile phone & on my laptop. Paper information is in a locked filing storage and the rest is password protected.

Access to your personal information, correction & removal

​

You have the right to request a copy of your personal information that I have about you.

​

I would like to make sure the information you give me is correct and always up to date. You can contact me to correct or remove any information you think is not accurate.

​

You also have the right to request any information about you is removed. For medical reasons, your chemical records will be kept for 7 years from the date of your last service.
